Our Education Committee has approved the Rossdales' Optimising Youngstock Growth and Development course, a two-day programme taking place on 15-16 January 2026 at the British Racing School, Newmarket. BEVA members attending the course will benefit from a special discounted rate.

This brand-new course combines lectures, case discussions, and interactive sessions that cover all aspects of youngstock growth, development, and management. Delegates will gain insight into the latest research as well as practical knowledge from some of the most experienced equine specialists.

The programme covers everything from:

• Optimising future performance

• Imaging and nutrition

• Parasite problems

• Medicine

"We're pleased to be able to approve the Optimising Youngstock Growth and Development programme, it is a great addition to our own CPD programme which features a series of reproduction CPD opportunities throughout 2026, we'd encourage you to go and look at all the courses we've planned for 2026. Together, these courses give vets the knowledge and confidence at every stage of their career." Sarah Gasper, BEVA Learning Manager.

BEVA members attending the course receive a special discounted rate of £495, compared to £600 for non-members. The course is organised and run directly by Rossdales Veterinary Surgeons. For more information and to secure a place, contact the course administrator Emily Heslop at emily.heslop@rossdales.com.
