04 Jun 2026 BEVA

The Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS) is delighted to announce the launch of the SPVS Salary Survey 2026 Questionnaire.

This annual survey remains a vital resource for building a comprehensive picture of remuneration across the veterinary sector. It captures a wide range of data, including basic salaries, bonuses, dividends and overtime, as well as benefits such as accommodation, company vehicles, car allowances and pension contributions. As such, it serves as an essential benchmark for professionals working in both clinical and non-clinical roles within the veterinary profession.

SPVS is inviting responses from everyone working in the veterinary sector — from veterinary surgeons and nurses to practice managers, support staff and those working in industry or non-clinical roles. With ongoing economic pressures and continued challenges around recruitment and retention, it is more important than ever for practices to ensure their remuneration packages remain competitive and attractive.

The strength of the survey lies in the breadth of its data. The more responses received, the more meaningful and representative the findings will be, offering valuable insight into current trends in veterinary pay and benefits. All professionals are encouraged to take part and share the survey with colleagues.

As a thank you for taking part, all participants will have the chance to enter an exclusive prize draw to win a Bose SoundLink Plus portable speaker — perfect for enjoying music at home or on the go.

Key findings will be published in a summary report, which will be made freely available to all participants who provide their email address at the end of the survey. SPVS members will be able to access the full report, including detailed analysis and expert commentary.

As always, all responses are treated with strict anonymity and complete confidentiality. Any queries regarding the survey can be directed to office@spvs.org.uk.

SPVS extends its thanks in advance to all participants for contributing to this important industry resource.
