An exciting Opportunity for an Ambitious Equine Veterinary Surgeon!

Are you a passionate and driven veterinary surgeon looking to take the next step in your career? Wrexham Equine Care in Holt is expanding, and we're seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team. With a focus on providing exceptional equine care, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our growing practice.
The role is based on a 40-hour week Monday to Friday. The OOH rota consists of appro. 1:7 weekends and 1:9 weeknight as 2nd on call. Toil day after a weekend on call. A vehicle will be available, usually a Ford Ranger or equivalent.

About Us

Our practice encompasses a large specialist hospital at Baschurch and GP ambulatory clinic at Wrexham, equipped to deliver comprehensive care to horses across Shropshire, North Wales, and Cheshire. As an RCVS accredited Tier 3 Hospital and Equine Emergency Service Clinic, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in veterinary medicine and surgery.
Offering a full range of surgical, medical, diagnostic, and ambulatory services we currently have 18 Veterinary surgeons working across two fully integrated sites supported by 11 nursing, technical and administration staff.

Our team includes two specialist Diploma holders and recognised European specialists in both equine medicine and surgery as well as Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons certificate holders in Advanced Veterinary practice across a variety of disciplines. Our nursing team includes three Equine Veterinary Nurses and one Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs), and we are a registered veterinary nurse training practice.

The Ambulatory team is made up of 11 Vets and we are looking for one recruit to join the team. 
What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll play a key role in providing essential ambulatory services to our equine patients. You'll work alongside our established team of veterinary professionals, collaborating to deliver outstanding clinical care and build lasting relationships with clients. With full support from our RCVS accredited Hospital, you'll have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources to enhance your practice.
