Two Exciting Opportunities for confident professionals required for maternity cover

  • An experienced stud vet with ambulatory experience from Feb/March - Aug/Sept 2026
  • A confident ambulatory vet for general first-opinion work from Feb - Sept 2026

Stud Vet (£45-65k pro rata)

  • We're seeking an experienced equine vet with reproductive bias to provide maternity cover from Feb/March 2026 (minimum 6 months).
  • The focus of the role is routine repro work (scanning, AI - chilled and frozen) & ambulatory foal care 
  • Mostly individual broodmares, small studs, with some thoroughbred work.
  • The role will involve servicing a varied caseload of first opinion ambulatory work. 
  • Suits vets interested in combining Northern and Southern Hemisphere breeding seasons. 
  • Majority of mares come into the clinic 
  • On call only for stud work 
  • Diverse first-opinion caseload

Ambulatory Role (£35-65k pro rata)

  • We're seeking a confident ambulatory vet to provide maternity cover from end of Jan / Feb 2026 (minimum 8 months). 
  • Comprehensive first-opinion practice with genuine variety
  • Role tailored to successful candidate's experience and interests
  • On call rota 1:8 weekends and weekday
  • Day off for working weekend

  • 3 digital radiography systems and multiple ultrasound units
  • Video endoscopy, gastroscopy, shockwave and in-house laboratory
