Senior Equine Vet – Branch Lead

Location: Kent – set in the beautiful Kent countryside near Canterbury.

Practice: Lingfield East

Hours: Full-time | Permanent

Start Date: Flexible

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Equine Vet to take the lead at Lingfield East, our rapidly growing branch practice in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys clinical work but is also excited by the idea of guiding a team, building relationships, and shaping the future of an independant practice.

You’ll have the freedom to run the practice day to day, supported by a friendly and experienced  wider team who are always on hand when needed. We’re keen to find someone who will really make the role their own.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the branch with a hands-on, supportive approach

• Providing high-quality equine veterinary care

• Supporting, mentoring, and developing vets and nurses

• Building strong, trusted relationships with clients

• Helping the branch grow and thrive, both clinically and commercially

• Working closely with senior management to share ideas and drive improvements

About You

• MRCVS with solid equine-only experience

• A confident clinician who enjoys working with people as much as horses

• Leadership experience is ideal, but we’d also love to hear from vets ready to take the next step

• Approachable, organised, and a great communicator

• Interested in developing a branch and a team over the long term

• Passionate about delivering excellent care and client service

What We Offer

• Competitive salary depending on experience

• Profit share or performance-related bonus options

• A high level of clinical and operational autonomy

• The site is in the process of being developed and we will be able to offer in a matter of months an excellent well equipped facility with brand new office, lab, stabling, stocks, trot up, hard lunge area and menage.

• High quality equipment.

• Strong support network

• Flexible working patterns where possible

• Generous CPD allowance and support for further development

• The chance to shape an independent practice and feel invested in its success

Why Join Us?

We’re proud of our supportive, down-to-earth culture and are looking for someone who wants to be part of a practice where people genuinely enjoy working together. If you’re ready for a role where your experience, ideas, and leadership really matter, we’d love to hear from you.
