Are you passionate about equine care and looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity? Join our dedicated team for the upcoming breeding season as a Seasonal Veterinarian – Equine Reproduction and Stud Medicine.

About Us

We are an equine practice specialising in repro and stud medicine. Located in a vibrant equestrian region, we take pride in fostering a collaborative and professional environment where every team member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional results.

The Role

As a seasonal veterinarian, you will work closely with our experienced team during the peak of the breeding season (six months duration). Your primary focus will be on all aspects of stud medicine, including:

Monitoring and managing broodmares during the breeding and foaling season.

Conducting reproductive evaluations, ultrasounds, and pregnancy diagnostics.

Artificial insemination and other breeding procedures.

Neonatal care and management of foals.

Assisting with emergency cases and general equine health.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong interest in reproduction and a passion for equine care.

What We’re Looking For

Qualification: A relevant degree in veterinary medicine.

Experience: Prior experience in equine reproduction having completed at least 5 seasons. Competent in fetal twin reduction, placental scanning/monitoring and interested in trans-abdominal fetal well-being ultrasound.

Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
