Bourton Vale Equine Clinic are seeking a meticulous and motivated individual to join our team and take on the role of laboratory technician.
This is a hands-on position where you will be required to perform a range of diagnostic tests including but not limited to haematology, biochemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and bacterial culture and sensitivity testing. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the laboratory equipment, managing laboratory consumables and ensuring that appropriate QC checks are performed as necessary.
We are looking for an individual with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, relevant qualifications and/or experience, the ability to work proactively as an individual; a love of horses is not essential but is a plus! This role would also suit a veterinary nurse who enjoys a focus on laboratory work.
