Bourton Vale Equine Clinic is a historic practice located in the beautiful Cotswolds. We are an RCVS-accredited equine veterinary hospital with surgical and inpatient facilities offering a 24/7 service to our clients, and surrounding practices.
The role would suit a board-certified ECVS or ACVS diplomate, or an individual who has recently finished a residency and is eligible to sit their board exams.
The hospital currently has two ECVS surgeons, a team of predominantly ambulatory veterinary surgeons, five nurses and two hospital-based interns. The hospital has a well-equipped theatre, gamma scintigraphy and standing MRI. As a team we genuinely value and strive for a positive, progressive and productive working environment. The hospital has seen significant growth in caseload over the last 24 months making it a dynamic time to join the team.
Bourton Vale Equine Clinic treats a range of horses and ponies with a genuine breadth spanning one-horse leisure clients, Thoroughbred stud farms and racing/Sport horses.
Both full- and part- time working patterns will be considered. The out of hours rota is shared with two other ECVS diplomates.
