Due to maternity leave, new vet required to join our five-vet, friendly team in an equine and farm animal position (70:30). No TB testing or dairy work. Equine work is varied, with hunters/performance horses/racehorses/pleasure horses and stud work if interested! The practice also has a separate small animal department to share expertise and equipment.
Practice based in Minehead, a friendly and busy seaside town surrounded by beautiful Exmoor and the Quantock Hills. Fantastic place to live for anyone into walking/running/cycling/horse-riding/wild swimming/paddle-boarding/kayaking and more, and a good work-life balance is important to all of us.
Fun and supportive team with excellent qualified nurses available when needed, including on-call. We regularly work with visiting surgeons and specialists for more complex cases, and take non-urgent referrals from practices without surgical facilities. We also have good relationships with local referral hospitals.
