An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join the newly formed team at Rowley Mile Equine Cheshire. We are a new, busy, fully ambulatory, independent 3-vet equine veterinary practice servicing Cheshire, North of Shropshire and Wrexham.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience or completion of an equine internship
- Previous experience with stud work would be beneficial but not essential
- Have a keen interest in thoroughbred racing and showjumping
- Be committed to providing a high level of veterinary care
- Be motivated to develop further under supervision
- Have excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Work well within a team
In return we will offer:
- 5 days a week
- Out-of-hours: 1 night on-call per week; 1 weekend in 3
- 5 weeks annual leave

- A well-equipped practice (wireless digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopes, gastroscopy, shockwave)
