Experienced / Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Thornton Wright is looking to recruit an experienced equine vet due to the retirement of a long-standing senior colleague. Our professional, supportive, fun and friendly team are committed to ensuring the provision of clinical excellence to our customers and patients of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
As a proud, independent equine practice we have a diverse variety of case work including leisure, sport horses, racing and stud work. We are a predominantly ambulatory practice with a clinic capable of offering reproductive services, medical care, standing surgical procedures and lameness investigations
Our team currently consists of 6 vets who are supported by experienced non-clinical colleagues. There is access to new, modern diagnostic equipment and therapeutics. We work closely with specialist led referral hospitals, laboratories and visiting specialists.
The role would incorporate a maximum 1 in 4 out of hours rota with time off in lieu. For the right candidate we would entertain part time, full time and/or a condensed working week.
A competitive package includes a generous salary, CPD and holiday allowance and provision of a company vehicle. This salary will be commensurate with experience.
