Newmarket Equine Hospital is seeking an experienced lameness clinician to join our multidisciplinary team of hospital specialists.
The role is primarily hospital based but attending cases in the field would also be encouraged to develop your caseload. The hospital is well equipped with excellent conventional and advanced imaging systems facilitating thorough work up of the varied orthopaedic cases (including radiography, ultrasonography, scintigraphy, MRI and CT).
The successful applicant will have suitable training and clinical experience to be capable of investigating and managing referred lameness and poor performance cases to a specialist level. You will work alongside specialist colleagues in the hospital who will provide advanced diagnostic imaging and surgical treatment of cases, enabling holistic case investigation and management. The position would suit an applicant that is a ECVSMR or ACVSMR diplomate, or that is board eligible.
The position is full time. There will be participation on the hospital out of hours admissions rota, alongside the on-call surgeon.
