Equine Veterinary Nurse Vacancy
The Equine Veterinary Medical Center (EVMC), Doha, is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to come and join our hospital team in Qatar. The position is available from June 2026.
EVMC is a purpose-built state-of-the-art equine hospital that opened its doors in 2018 and has since grown to see over 2500 cases per year and become one of the most advanced equine medical centers in the Middle East. The hospital is equipped with advanced imaging (CT and nuclear scintigraphy), as well as several endoscopes, digital X-Ray (gantry and portable) and a range of ultrasound units. The hospital has three operating theaters (2 GA and 1 standing), a dedicated isolation unit, intensive care facilities for adult horses and foals, a farrier shop, lameness examination areas on several surfaces, an on-site commercial laboratory and a dedicated reproduction center. Our caseload includes intensive care medicine, advanced breeding techniques, sports medicine and a large surgical caseload.

Requirements and details of position:
• The primary day-to-day role will be assisting the team with admission and care of inpatients and day-patients, as well as administrative roles required for effective hospital operations.
• All our nurses provide support within all hospital departments (internal medicine, surgery, sports medicine and reproduction) according to scheduling requirements and candidates should be willing to get involved in a range of challenges.
• All nurses participate in an equally divided 1-in-5 out-of-hours rota, covering all the services.
• A certified qualification (including Batchelor’s degree) in veterinary nursing and at least 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role are mandatory requirements.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working with a breeding population of mares, foals and stallions.
