Due to the practice growing we are looking for a 100% Equine Vet, based in the North West working for a privately owned practice.
Previous winner of “Veterinary Practice of the Year” (Equestrian Business Awards).
We offer a 4-day week providing a good work/life balance (hours are usually 8.30am to 5.30pm), 1 in 4 weekends and 1 in 5 weekdays on call Rota.
Surgical facilities including areas for standing surgery and large operating theatre as well as trot-up, indoor, outdoor arenas and gallop track for lameness and poor performance investigation.
Extensive support network from senior vets with dual CertAVP in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery with additional support from all staff including trained counsellor.
Further training for CPD/Certificate encouraged, weekly M & M meetings and regular Journal Clubs
Stabling available for your own horse on-site and use of facilities including 60 x 25m outdoor and 40 x 20m indoor as well as gallop track.
All equipment supplied, vehicle provided.
Rural 2 bedroom accommodation next to practice available.
Salary according to experience plus private medical insurance.
