Equine Vet - Avonvale Equine Vet Practice – Warwickshire/Oxfordshire border

We are looking for an equine veterinary surgeon to expand our friendly, independently owned, well established 100% equine practice. We offer a huge amount of support and collaboration from an experienced, dedicated team and the role can be adapted to suit any level of experience, new graduates are welcome to apply.
Our practice is based on the edge of the Cotswolds, on the Warwickshire/Oxfordshire border, very close to the M40 with fabulous links to London and Birmingham.
We are an ambulatory equine vet practice with a very diverse caseload. We operate with the latest full set of up-to-date mobile diagnostic equipment with the vast majority of procedures carried out on yard. Our local partner facility, based in Wolston, just outside Coventry,
provides facilities for overnight livery stabling, artificial insemination (frozen and chilled), standing procedures requiring stocks and facilities for lameness assessment if required.
With a team of 5 vets and 2 nurses currently, we provide exceptional care to our wide range of clients including stud, race, sport horse, leisure horse and donkey owners.
The successful candidate must work well within a team, be client orientated and strive for high clinical standards. Stud experience would be of benefit, but not essential. We would welcome applications looking for full-time or part-time work. Our standard working week comprises 42 hours over 4 days with a 1 in 4 OOH commitment.

Applicants must be RCVS registered, or eligible for RCVS registration. Salary commensurate with experience within a range of £35,000 - £50,000 pa.
