Estonian University of Life Sciences Equine Internship Program

The Estonian University of Life Sciences Equine Clinic, located in Tartu, Estonia, is a leading equine referral center offering a remunerated 12-month clinical internship open to veterinary graduates worldwide.

Application Details

Application deadline: January 4th, 2026. Program start date: Last week of March 2026 (earlier start possible upon agreement)

Application requirements

Letter of Intent, Current CV, Two reference letters from veterinarians (preferably equine practitioners)

Eligibility

DVM or equivalent degree from an, EAEVE-accredited veterinary school, Demonstrated interest in equine medicine and surgery, Proficiency in written and spoken English, Valid driver licence. For external applicants (non-EMU students or those without prior externship experience), a mandatory 3-day visit between January 5–16, 2026 is required. Applications must be submitted as a single PDF file via email to felipe.correa@emu.ee by January 4th, 2026. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Interviews
