We're pleased to announce that bookings are now open for a brand-new advanced CPD course: Peritarsal pain in practice, taking place online on Tuesday 17 February 2026.

Peritarsal pain remains a frustrating cause of equine lameness, particularly when standard diagnostic pathways fall short. This highly focused half-day discussion course brings together world-leading clinicians from both sides of the Atlantic to help experienced equine vets navigate these difficult cases with greater clarity and confidence.

Developed for diplomates, residents, and seasoned ambulatory practitioners, the programme goes beyond the basics to explore the subtleties of diagnostic decision-making, interpretation of complex imaging, and the practicalities of rehabilitation planning. Delegates will work through challenging real-world scenarios, reviewing cases where conventional approaches are inconclusive and advanced imaging may (or may not) be an option.

Led by course organiser Fran James, the speaker line-up includes Andrea Bischofberger,Lauren Schnabel, Kya Ortved, and Roger Smith, brining a depth of expertise spanning orthopaedics, sport medicine, surgery and advanced imaging.

Live Q&As and discussion will be woven throughout giving delegates an opportunity to engage directly with respected clincians in the field.

BEVA members receive 50% off the course price.

Full course details and booking information are available.
