Essential skills for vets in ambulatory practice seeing foal cases will be covered. The morning starts with short lectures. After the coffee break we move onto the hands-on sessions and case based discussions will include over-the-wire catheter placement, CPR, foal squeeze- when and how and management flexural deformities in the field.
This workshop is suitable for recently graduated ambulatory vets who have qualified in the last 3 to 5 years wishing to develop practical skills and techniques used in the management of foal cases as well as those working towards the RCVS CertAVP Equine Stud Medicine and B-EP.3, C-VA.3, C-E.19, C-E.11, C-E.10, C-E.9 or C-E.17 Module.
