About the course

This course offers a morning of lectures covering basic diagnostic anaesthesia and pitfalls before a series of “How to” sessions on common orthopaedic techniques, will look at optimising these in clinics.

The afternoon will allow you to put these new skills into practice, with cadaver-based sessions helping to build confidence performing practical lameness investigations.

Learning outcomes

• Demonstrate a logical approach to investigating common causes of lameness affecting the equine distal limb.
• Demonstrate the practical skills required to perform orthopaedic diagnostic or therapeutic procedures of the equine distal limb.
