Diagnosing and treating stifle lameness can be as complex as it is critical. That’s why we’ve introduced this brand-new course to further your knowledge and skills of this high-stakes area, where even the smallest changes can lead to significant issues in performance and soundness.
Throughout the course you will refresh your understanding of pain and identify its root cause in a range of cases, from sudden onset lameness to more chronic conditions. We will focus on different imaging modalities and how to identify when to use which one as well as how imaging can identify bony lesions from cysts and OCD to fractures and more. We’ll also look at soft tissue injuries like meniscal tears, cruciate ligament damage and patellar ligament strains.
This course offers a deep dive into ultrasound-guided injections. You’ll get the chance to practise hands on ultrasound and discuss ultrasound guided injection tips so you can confidently incorporate it into your treatment toolkit. We’ll discuss rehabilitation and exercise programmes designed to support recovery and restore performance levels by rebuilding your patients’ strength, mobility and function post-injury.
Don’t miss your chance to engage in stimulating case discussions and practical sessions so you’re ready to face even the trickiest stifle cases.
We are also offering an exclusive bundle deal, which combines our Digital Flexor Tendon Sheaths and Problematic Stifle courses. Over the two days you will get hands-on building on common knowledge of complex hindlimb lameness. This bundle also includes a course evening meal. To find out more and book the bundle, click here.
