Hours: 40 hours over 5 days, 7:30am–4pm Monday to Friday.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our senior leadership team and oversee the daily operations at our clinic in the heart of rural Leicestershire. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for someone with excellent management and leadership skills, passionate about empowering the veterinary team and ensuring high standards of equine care and client service.
As Practice Manager, you will be integral to ensuring that our practices run smoothly, efficiently, and harmoniously. You’ll work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure optimal service delivery while also managing, staffing, compliance, and overall client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Ensure daily operations run smoothly across all diaries.
- Address workflow challenges proactively to prevent disruption to client care
Staffing and HR
- Lead recruitment, development, and support for non-clinical staff
- Support with recruitment across all departments
- Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment
Health and Safety
- Lead the health and safety campaign to maintain compliance.
- Ensure documentation is up to date and workplace safety standards are met
Facility and Equipment Management
- Oversee inventory, equipment procurement, and servicing
Client Experience
- Support the Diary Manager in creating a welcoming, compassionate experience
- Address client concerns professionally and ensure a consistently positive experience
The Ideal Candidate:
