A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our RCVS-accredited Equine Hospital with outstanding career progression opportunities. We have a fantastic opening to join our forward-thinking and motivated ambulatory team, working across the beautiful Sussex countryside.
You’ll be joining a progressive practice with full hospital and surgical facilities, a supportive and collaborative culture, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. Although this is primarily an ambulatory role, the opportunity to work up your own cases at the hospital and establish a referral caseload is actively encouraged and supported. You’ll also have the full backing of our hospital-based specialists and dedicated Equine Nurses.
The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an approximate 1:6 out-of-hours rota and a day off in lieu following a weekend on-call. A fully equipped vehicle is provided. For those with sufficient experience and qualifications, there are also opportunities to be involved with emergency cover at four local racecourses and FEI events.
Full-time, part-time, and flexible working hours will all be considered, and future Clinical Directorship opportunities and progression plans are available for the right candidate.
Salary
• Salary up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Welcome bonus of up to £2,500
• Relocation allowance of up to £2,500
