About the role
You’ll join a close knit veterinary team delivering high quality, evidence based care to our resident equines. This role offers broad clinical experience in a welfare focused setting, with strong senior support and 24/7 access to fellow experienced veterinary surgeons by phone and in person. Call outs for new or recently qualified vets are always accompanied by a member of our equine veterinary nursing team.
Our well-equipped veterinary unit allows for surgical and intensive medical care, supported by a strong mentoring culture and daily opportunities to discuss and work through cases. You will never feel out of your depth and will be able to follow cases from first presentation onwards.
Some equines may be unhandled or have significant behavioural challenges and Redwings is very proud of the care we can provide for these horses, giving you full, round the clock support from our Welfare and Behaviour department
