We have a lovely team and great clients and really need an Ambitious Equine vet required for our modern and very well equipped independent clinic in Nantwich, Cheshire.
We provide a full ambulatory service with the support of our high class clinic and our range of very experienced colleagues. We have strong interest in equine orthopaedics and can efficiently work them up to a high standard on the various surfaces and arena at the clinic.
We have a surgical suite with dual knockdown/recovery boxes and dedicated theatre with tiping Telgate table and equipment awaits successful applicant. We have 14+ in patient boxes with cameras for ease of monitoring and the support of excellent veterinary assistants
We have multiple excellent digital radiographic kits in clinic and mobile. Plus gastric and respiratory digital videoendoscopes. in house laboratory and multiple regenerative medicine systems. We are on Beva AI list for chilled and frozen AI, and enjoy having mares and foals into the clinic for this.
While the position will be mainly ambulatory, you will be encouraged and supported to work up your own cases. There are also areas within clinic that will need you. This position does need skills or interest to be trained in stud work especially mare scanning and use of chilled and frozen semen. Also an interest and knowledge in equine general anaesthesia would be a great help.
The Package:
Generous salary depending on skills and experience,
30 days holiday + CPD encouraged and funded. 1:5 equally shared OOH rota,
practice vehicle supplied, pension, healthsheild, BEVA, VDS and RCVS fees paid.
