Residency in Equine Surgery at Leahurst Equine Hospital
Based at the Leahurst Campus of the University of Liverpool, the Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital is a large well-equipped hospital with a busy diverse caseload of both elective and emergency cases. The surgical team is composed of 5 ECVS diplomates with a well-established residency training programme. The wider team includes 10 other board-certified specialists with a large team of residents and interns. The 3-year role combines clinical, teaching and research components with participation in an out-of-hours rota. See link below for more information on what the role entails.
You must hold RCVS membership by the time you start in the role. Interviews will likely take place in March 2026 and the post is available for 3 years. The preferred start date is June 2026.
