Course Programme
Our advanced dental theory course is designed for individuals wishing to become qualified equine dental technicians. The course will help you prepare for the BEVA/BVDA exam and provide you with the necessary knowledge to develop a career as an equine dental technician. The course provides you with nine on-demand lectures that cover the theory you need to know and that you will be tested on in the BEVA/BVDA exam. The on-demand lectures will cover topics including anatomy, physiology and common diseases. You will then join us for a day of live online lectures and discussion to explore equine dental procedures and diagnostic techniques. During the live day our speakers will also share essential information on the BEVA/BVDA exam, common reasons for failure and give you the chance to ask questions about the exam. Your on-demand materials for this course will be available two weeks before the live date. Please note for those wishing to sit the BEVA/BVDA exam, this course's live element is mandatory. To satisfy the exam requirements, you must be present throughout the day and attendance at the live meeting is monitored.
If you are a BEVA member and registered vet looking to refresh your knowledge in equine dentistry, then you can book to attend the live discussion only. You can book this here. If you are an Equine Dental Technician or if you are not a BEVA Vet Member, you will need to book the full package which includes recorded online sessions as well as the live day to ensure that you cover everything that you need to know.
